Barote began as a family devotion to the Colombian floral tradition — a country whose light, altitude and volcanic soil produce some of the most storied flowers on earth. Our founders carried that inheritance north, opening an atelier where each stem is treated as a small, considered object.
We work directly with growers across Colombia and the Ecuadorian Andes, sourcing roses, lilies, ranunculus, orchids, sunflowers and seasonal botanicals for their form, their fragrance and the way they age. The flowers arrive within days of being cut and are conditioned, sorted and arranged in-house — never resold, never rushed.
What leaves the studio is not a bouquet. It is a gesture, wrapped in parchment, carried by hand, offered in your name.

A Barote wedding is not a delivery of flowers — it is a full floral direction of the day. We work with a small number of couples each season, designing every arch, aisle, bouquet, boutonnière and reception table as one considered composition. Tell us the venue, the date, and the feeling.
